Lesbian and Bisexual Rights
No woman be forced to hide her true self for fear of persicuition. And yet women are forced to do this every day: we pluck and shave and dye hair, we wear make-up, we act meek and tolerate harassment from men, we don't voice our disagreements, we hide or keep quiet our sexual orientations-- all in order to get by in life. We are forced to lie or cover-up who we really are because it's not what men want from women. Sometimes women buck this system, and a lot of times we are punished for it. This is something that all women have in common, gay and straight alike, and a major reason why it's in all women's interests to oppose policies, laws, and practices that discriminate against lesbian and bisexual women, and the extended gay community.
