Our Monthly meetings vary as to time and place ...trying to cover Brevard, Indian River and St. Lucie Counties. The calendar of events...

Jan 16-18, 2004 - NOW State Conference in Clearwater, Fl. Registration fee is $50 for NOW members and $60 for non-members. For more info call Gloria Wood at 772) 234-8896.

Jan 22 - We are celebrating Rowe v Wade with a vigil at the Vero Beach Court House at Rt. 60/16th Avenue in Vero from 10-12 a.m. It is more important than ever to show support. Sign up for a half hour shift (or more) by calling Gloria at 772) 234-8897.

Jan 31 - NOW meeting at 11:30 at the Pelican Yacht Club in Ft. Pierce. Candace Dye from A Woman's World Medical Center in Ft. Pierce will be speaking about reproductive rights. Call Gloria at 772) 234-8897 to make a reservation.

Feb 14 - Central Brevard AAUW presenting "Women of History" at the Cocoa Beach Holiday Inn. Call Doreen Archer at 321) 453-4866 for reservations. Cost is $13.50

Feb 26 - "The Godess Awakening" presented by Nancy Blair, local artist and writer, at the Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne at 4 o'clock in the Evans Library. Make plans to attend this wonderful program hosted by NOW, Florida Tech's School of Psychology, and the Evans Library.

Feb 28 - Progressive Networking Workshop from 1-5 at Friendship Fellowship at 3115 Friendship Place in Melbourne. Call Cathy Stanton at 321) 259-7949 for details.

Mar 13-16 - FLA NOW Lobby Days at the Capitol in Tallahassee. Call Gloria Wood if you are interested in going at 772) 234-8896.

Mar 17 - League of Women Voter's are leading a discussion of the "Patriot Act" at the Melbourne Library at 6 o'clock.

Mar 27- Indian River NOW meeting. Site to be announced later.

April 10 - NOW State Council meeting in Orlando. Call Gloria at 772) 234-8896 if you would like to attend.

April 25 - The March for Women's Lives in Washington. NOW, The Feminist Majority, NARAL Pro Choice America, Planned Parenthood and over 750 co-sponsors are planning a mass march for women's rights activists and supporters in
Washington D.C. on April 25, at 10 o'clock. If you cannot go yourself, fund a scholarship so someone can march in your place. Stand up and be counted on this issue. For info on buses, carpools, lodging, etc. log on to:
